last weekend bryan & i drove to albuqurque new mexico (coolest state flag ever, by the way) to meet his niece/god daughter... her personality & sweet, sweet little face are to die for. i'm talking precious. i love all babies, and i mean ALL babies, but evelyn will hold a special place in my heart, not to mention several other hearts as well. i got a semi upset/ jealous phone call from eveyln's aunt melissa & grandma paris complaining that i was holding her before them :) but i promised them lots of pictures -so here's a few. (on my brand spanking new computer which is pretty spectacular.)
check out her toesy's on the picture with mama. too cute!

love to travel...
this weekend we are heading to alberqurque, new mexico... bryan's niece eveyln paris was born last wednesday afternoon!!!! she is the very first grand baby and we will be the first to meet her (other than her parents of course!). all of our families are back in ky. and wont be able to come out until her baptism in june. so i've promised to take tons of pictures of her. i'll post some here as soon as we get back!
i love traveling, the change of scenery is very inspiring to me. so when i get asked to shoot a wedding outside of phx i jump on it! especially for the summer months :)
i fly to OOooKla-hoooMa next week for adam & kim's wedding, which should be really quiant & beautiful. and then this summer i have a wedding in st.paul/stillwater mn! my dear friend doug rarig is getting married to a cool chica named molly. doug has been one of my biggest supporters art & photography wise- since i met him almost 7 or 8 years ago at silver bay. when he called and said he wanted me to shoot his wedding it was pretty special bc it doesn't get more supportive than that. thanks for always believing in me douggy- i cant wait to make some amazing pictures of your day! i'm also very excited to be visiting st paul for the first time, bc poor garrison keillor isnt going to know what to do with me. i have loved prairie home companion for sooooo long & can't believe i'll be walking down the same streets he walks down! i've heard he is gone most of that month, but my fingers are crossed.
then another friend from silver bay, new york is getting married the following weekend at silver bay!!!! mike & lisa. both are really talented musicians and outdoor enthusiasts. mike is part of a great band in austin texas check out his website at http://janickeweb.com/ i'm not sure what the band will do now that mike is moving up north to be near sba and his lovely wife! i can't wait for their wedding at our beautiful lake george slice of heaven. here are a few pictures i took of silver bay when i escaped there for some fall hiking & relaxation this past november.
on a side note: the website is almost done- jeff has been working really hard on it. i'm so excited that very soon i'll be able to type in meganresch.com and my work will be on display for everyone to see!!!! fun stuff. you'll all have to let me know what you think about it.
on another side, side exciting note- i'm getting a new laptop this week! yeah for mac book pro's being spectacular. i cant wait for a new, shiny computer- for to type with!

so today i wanted to post some of my jewelry & give etsy a little acknowledgement. if you've never visited etsy.com you should. it's a kick-butt website for artists. they allow us to post our goods for a very reasonable price & that means a more affordable price for you.
my business name is thesongbirdsjewels. no spaces just one long run on fragment :) once you're at the site look under the search tab for sellers:usernames and enter my lil title. let me know what you think! i have about 80 necklaces made right now, i'm just slowly posting them to the site once it gets some more steam.
