i can' t believe these babies are a year old. i just can't. how has a year passed since i spent that afternoon in the hospital with their parents, eagerly awaiting their arrival. well it has & these awesome babes are one fun handful! we got together to do a 1 year session & it was so much fun trying to keep up with them.

this cute little guy you're about to meet just turned one! we met up awhile ago to document the occasion, plus grandma & grandpa were in town & they wanted in on the action.

zach is such a sweetheart, but he wasn't really in the mood for a portrait session.
between the 5 adults we made him giggle a few times :)

~sadly, a friend of mine just miscarried not too long ago. october is pregnancy & infant loss awareness month, and october 15th specifically is pregnancy & infant loss remembrance day. please think of her & the many other families out there having to cope with this loss. i am a volunteer photographer for now i lay me down to sleep. (on a small hiatus because i didn't want to show up with a pregnant belly & now i'd be too emotional during the sessions, but i do hope to find the strength to participate again) you can always donate to them as well.

rachel... i can't say sweet enough things about this woman. she found me on wpja which was the first sign i was going to like her. then she told me that "yeah, we liked your stuff" but it was my fondness for obama that convinced her. um... she basically had me at hello. but seriously, this couple has been beyond sweet & fun to work with. thank you so much for trusting me with your special day.
