my friend, erica, asked if i'd be willing to document their family's long standing tradition of orange sourdough pancakes the saturday after thanksgiving. i of course said i'd love to. & it was so much fun. so energizing. i was honored to document this family with their friends doing what this time of year is truly meant to be. being together.
we took a few portraits before the shindig started.
& then the breakfast began.
i was told to get a plate & eat and i'm no fool :) so i did.
