ashley & paul are getting hitched next year!!  

i am so looking forward to their amazing wedding at the botanical gardens! 

a lil back story. we play frisbee with these beautiful people. 

paul asked his parents if they'd be interested in adopting our weimaraner, skye, 

after she showed a little aggression towards finn when he was a baby.  

they have given skye the most amazing life of hiking galore, squirrels to chase, 

bears to bark at & ice cream for dessert. 

they are some wonderful people that we are incredibly grateful for. 

and now we couldn't be happier for paul & ashley!

(and we're totally thrilled they asked the kids to participate in the wedding!)

a to the 4th : phoenix family photographer

this is an adorable family. you've met them before a couple of times: 

baby brother's birth & big sis's two year old session!   

well, we needed some pictures of baby brother, where he wasn't 10 seconds old! 

so we did another session a couple weeks ago & i'm mighty proud of the images we got because it had some tough obstacles;
baby that wasn't in the mood, the sand & dirt were problematic with mama's contacts & the ants were very mean!

i had the privilege of photographing this beautiful wedding. they were married on a beautiful ranch on a day with some crazy weather.
as i drove to the ranch it was hailing!

and then a few hours before the ceremony (which was outside!!) it stopped. 

the winds picked up, but the sun was shining.
