kristin & mike's wedding : minnesota wedding photographer

such a beautiful day...
which i think none of us expected. this area had trees down & power out all over, after two days of some pretty impressive storms. but those blue skies showed up for these two!

kristin was so calm. so happy. so relaxed.

writing her vows; her niece decided to draw her a picture. loved the repetition.

it's almost TIME!!!!

the reveal. i LOVE LOVE LOVE when my couples decide to do this.

mike's aunt made this quilt for them.
i really wanted to incorporate it in a photo, because it was so beautiful.
(inspired from a scene in how to make an american quilt)
and my favorite photo!

gotta love gingko leaves!

aren't they adorable?

see, blue skies!

oh man, kristin's nephew was adorable!
grandpa showing the sweet flower girl how to throw the petals.

some flower girls loving on their uncle.

this is maybe my favorite moment at weddings: watching the groom when he sees his bride walk down the aisle. i love seeing the emotion flood his face. makes my heart melt.

and then seeing their parents emotions. oh man do i love weddings!

they had such a joyful wedding.
their friend officiated so it had a really nice personal touch, with lots of laughter & tears.

kristen is an amazing baker. she baked almost everything on this table. they were all delicious.
i know because i sampled everything!

michael & his nephew were the stars of the show.

beautiful day. beautiful love. really fun party!
thank you for allowing me to document your day. i truly loved being there!
